The Friends of Mount Athos

This year's AGM will be held on Saturday, 30 May at St Anne's College, Oxford. The programme will be as follows.

 

11.00      Coffee and registration in the Mary Ogilvie Theatre Foyer

 

11.30    Sister Benedicta Ward, SLG, of the Convent of the Incarnation at Fairacres, will speak on the subject

THE DESERT FATHERS AND THE LOVE OF OTHERS

 

13.15         Buffet lunch

 

14.15   AGM: election of officers, approval of accounts, any other business (guests are welcome but may not vote)

14.45   John Arnell, leader and prime mover of our path-clearing project, will give an illustrated presentation entitled

THE FRIENDS OF MOUNT ATHOS FOOTPATH RESTORATION PROJECT

16.00      Tea

 

17.00      Vespers

 

There is no charge for attending the AGM but for the rest of the day's programme (including coffee and tea) the charge is £10.00 / €11 / $16 (students £5.00 / €6.00 / $8.00). The charge for lunch is £15.00 / €16.00 / $23.00.
